CANdyBUG support information

This page provides support information for the users of our CANdyBUG Software.

Global information

• The currently shipped candybug is a demo of the current beta version. If you have suggestions for additional functions you are missig please send us an email with your ideas.
• The CANdyBUG currently works only with the EB08-GZ16 Board. Please load the uC Flash with the candybug_gz.s19 file (look in the candybug directory on the GZ16 STK CD)

Installing hints:

The CANdyBUG Software requires Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP and the Microsoft .NET runtime
Microsoft Windows NT4.0 is currently not tested, but may work. Unfortunately Windows 98 and ME are currently not supported. Future versions will also work on Win98 /ME.
 
You have our GZ16 STK CD? Here are hints for installing from this CD:
If you don’t have installed the .NET runtime on you machine, follow these steps for correct installation of the CANDyBUG PC software

1. Install actual Microsoft internet explorer (if your version is older than 5.1)
2. Install .NET runtime
3. Install CANDyBUG software

In the add_software\browser you find an english (ie6_en) and a german(ie6_de) version of the internet explorer 6
