for the users of our GZ16 STK.
Known problems
Unfortunatly
some of the shipped software has problems. Here you find the workarounds for these
problems:
- Metrowerks CodeWarrior update:
The update you find
on our GZ16 STK CD has some minor problems. See addendum and errata sheet below.
- COSMIC Software:
If you want to use the COSMIC software you have
to contact COSMIC to get a free evaluation license
The ZAP version on our
CD currently supports no flash programming of the GZ16. Debugging works if you
set up the GP32 controller type. Please look the COSMIC website for updates. Future
versions of the ZAP provide flash programming for the GZ16. To programm the flash
memory of the GZ16 you should use our HC08 ISP. - Our software example
for the Cosmic Compiler:

If you want to evaluate the functions of the command line version HC08ISP,
you need another license file. Please download it here
(right click and "save as"), copy it to the HC08ISP program directory and overwrite
the old license.txt - The CANdyBUG demo
The demo currently works only
on Windows 2000 and XP, for further information see the CANdyBUG
support site
Updated documents
Here we provide
updated versions of the documents supplied with the GZ16 STK. Look at the version
number in brackets to check if the document is newer than that one you already
have.
